One minute designer: A lot of you have been asking me about how I created my intro animation last week. Here’s how I did it. My process is simple - think, sketch, digitize and animate. The two tools that I’ve used here are sketchapp and principleapp - both of these together are super powerful. I also use principle for all of my ui/ux micro interactions. Here’s the thing, the majority of the time was spent thinking through what I wanted to do and little time actually doing it. As Einstein said it best, “if you only have 1hour to solve a problem, spend 55minutes defining the problem and the remaining 5minutes solving the problem”. Most of my work as a designer relates to this quote. That’s what will make you more valuable as a designer. See, the production of anything is cheap, the thought behind it is expensive. Colorinspire.io is launching today! Curated color inspiration, based on my Colors of the Week series now has its own site. . Over the past months, I have shared a total of 62 color combinations in my Instagram Stories. Mostly for fun, but also to offer a source of inspiration for those who may be interested. Even when it started pretty small it quickly got the attention of many and grew into something much bigger. The format was ideal and working well: every week, new combination, posted in Stories for 24h. But some people didn’t get a chance to catch it or see the previous ones shared. Making a site to put everything in one place was a great idea, which didn’t come entirely from me, but also from you, my followers, who saw a potential to push it further and use it as an inspiration source. Some of you even participated in choosing the name for this and sent me suggestions just days before it went live, big thx to you! Now we’re here, with a completed and running site. . The site is so simple so anyone could do it but in this case, it serves a great purpose. It has a one-page layout, which includes 48 best color combinations shared over time, organized into a three-column grid. You can scroll through all of them and click any color to copy its hex code into a clipboard. That’s it. No overthinking. It's built entirely in @webflowapp, fully responsive, and also features some nice page load animations. . What now? По поводу конкурса на бесплатный сайт признаюсь честно - расстроилась... Всего 4 участника, и никакого вала подписчиков, как я себе вообразила Но жизнь чудна, и свела меня с замечательным художником из Алтайского края… знакомьтесь - Наталья Суровенкова @natali_surovenkova, мама 5-х(!!!) детей, которая и стала победителем моего конкурса… Наталья посвятила себя семье, на протяжении вот уже 25-ти лет преподает уроки живописи в детской школе искусств, и только сейчас появилось возможность реализоваться как свободный художник… ​ После анализа предоставленных материалов мысль о дизайне сайта в градиентах “вырви глаз” отвалилась сразу, я зацепилась за ретро-фото, которое стилизовала под нежный монохромный градиент в первом экране… Для презентации картин создан слайдер, навигацию для которого выполняют неактивные превью картин… ссылки же превью кликабельны и позволяют рассмотреть работы в полном размере… Также для раздела “Контакты” подключен виджет Instagram, о котором я рассказывала в одной из предыдущих публикаций… Настроены анимации: скрипт с эффектом работы печатной машинки в первом экране, для слайдера, кнопки меню, изображений… в общем и целом получился небольшой, но стильный индивидуальный проект, который сегодня и был передан клиенту… Сайт оптимизирован под важный ключевой запрос для успешного дальнейшего продвижения в поисковых системах... ​ Наталья, благодарю за участие, Ваши работы чудесные, и я искренне желаю Вам удачи!
