Who am I? I’m a mum who multitasks working part time in IT, runs her own business, volunteers in my community and still tries to find time for my amazing family. So where does that leave time to look after myself - well I just have to make it work and if that means exercising while my toddler is clinging to my leg then I’m still going to do it I am motivated to get fit this year as I miss my days of running cross country and taking part in charity runs. I’m inviting you to follow my exercise journey into the unknown to help inspire me to stick with it this year, instead of my usual 2 day burst and 363 days making excuses. This is me - I'm a 33 year old who can't sit still and deadlines are my biggest downfall....I set meself to many of them Tomorrow I'm launching a competition with some really inspiring ladies and in true Nicole style, I've just finished photographing the products that are up for grabs and will be pulling it all together up to the last minute, whilst trying get my house ready for a valuation on Tuesday and trying to get an appointment for a fast track child's passport. I love taking photographs. Capturing a moment so you can share it with others is really a special thing. My art prints are another way to capture a family in time, as your own fingerprints become part of the picture and in doing this, you share a moment with each other than can be displayed on the wall for years to come! My motivation is this little firecracker! When my daughter was born prematurley, I decided to take more time off after my maternaty leave as I wasn't ready to not spend every day with her yet. I still felt like I needed something for me to do outside motherhood so the idea came into my head to put my crafty skills to use and start my own business. I'm now back at the day job part time but I work on my business almost every weekend and love coming up with new illustration ideas. Sticking with the flower theme this week but putting a scottish spin on it! I've cut out the words and the top of the thistle and then put one of my daughters paintings behind it to transform her splodge painting into an art print fit for any nursery wall! I really struggle with picking the correct font for my prints. I spend hours trying out every font on my computer in upper and lower case before narrowing it down to a couple and then playing around with them. WHY DOES THERE HAVE TO BE SO MANY AMAZING CHOICES!?!?!?!
