Last week two things convinced me that pared down consistency is the key to making a success of myself. First, someone I chat to on Instagram recognised me in town. Because I was wearing yellow and pink. It’s not a conscious decision. They’re just my favourite colours, so I wear them a lot, and they end up on Instagram. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Then I spent a day at #ElevateCreative, where I learned I was right not to follow temptation and post a picture of me looking haggard after giving birth 14 years ago, (#royalbaby fever). At the time it felt like a missed opportunity, but it’s not what I normally post, so it would have looked odd in my squares. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ So it’s decided. Look away now if you hate yellow and pink You can expect a lot more of the #colourfulmums posts going forward! ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ [I picked up this book @pushprlondon - it’s by one of their clients @kikki.k, and I LOVED all the yellow motivation And if you’re a creative looking to hone your brand, I wholeheartedly recommend @notaboutthekids and @antoniataylorpr’s #BecomingaBrand workshop. Helen and Antonia are great, and they have some really good speakers ✅ Professional, was how someone described them to me, and that’s exactly them ]⁣⁣ ⁣⁣
