That night when I kissed him goodbye I had buried my apology in the valley in my mouth cause I knew he was hurting 'cause of the wounds I had left. I don't know Jai. I don't know if you will find love again. Maybe you will. I hope you will. But maybe we don't have to find love. Love walks in when it has to and will leave when it's supposed to. Love will brighten up your home with love. Love will make coffee for you in the morning with a spoon of sugar and a dash of cream just the way you like it. Love will listen to you rant about your boss and that self absorbed friend who never care about your feelings. Love will make you happy and love you the way you are. But Jai love will hurt you too. Love might become impossible to stay with. Love will get angry and say hurtful things, love will have insecurities, love will break your heart unknowingly and sometimes knowingly, love is going to be selfish, hard and tiresome. You might wonder why you thought this it's love. You will wonder how you fell in love. You will scream, cry, beg and plead. Love will shatter you and put you back together. I don't know if you are ready for that. I don't think I was. Maybe that's where we went wrong. . "I don't know" I murmur. . "Will you find love again?" . I don't know if I will.
