Objective: make a 'skyrat' from a steampunk/late medieval culture. I feel I accomplished that - though I am never 100% pleased with my work, the end result here ain't bad. I wanted to combine some WW1 gasmask love, some WW2 fallschirmjager inspiration, and some alternative-to-strapping-cogs-on-to-everything steampunk creativity. So about a week ago I was a player at @larpshatteredworld After 3 games of being a prop org for them. And Ive got to say I didn't realise how much I missed playing at a weekender Larp until this game. The character I played was a one time only character as myself and a couple of friends are creating a Greek themed warband to play as for foreseeable future :) I was very proud of the costume I made as I had just finished it days before the event because I decided to make things that I never used such as bracers and painting a shield. It was bittersweet in some ways, but I am looking forward to the next era... but for now, farewell Cub!
