Определённо, это мое место силы. После городского ритма и шума, домик среди леса, со звуками природы вокруг, с яркими звёздами ночью и чистейшим воздухом кажется раем...✨ Конечно, ощущений прибавляет и то, что это место моего детства) и всегда им останется. Хотя сам дом теперь со всеми удобствами За 25 лет здесь мало что изменилось и как будто родители ещё вместе, дедушка ещё живой позовёт играть в бильярд, а потом я убегу играть на пруд и ровно в 14:00 меня будут ждать на обед. Esse é o meu progresso em eka pada rajakapotasana (pombo real) durante um mês. Lizard pose is a fantastic way to open the hips, work towards splits, relieve back pain, and release stress. If you have done lizard a million times, here are some ways to switch it up! Remember, you can always modify by placing your hands/forearms on blocks and bending the back knee! Save this for your personal practice and tag someone that would benefit. They will thank you! Read below for full details Thanks for sharing @miss_sunitha ・・・ Different variations of Lizard Pose (Utthan Pristhasana) for different intentions in your practice. . 1️⃣ If you’re working on the inner hip/ inner thigh, keep the big toe mount of the front foot pressing firmly down as you sink the hips low. Either palms or forearms can be on the floor to keep the body supported. And of course, use blocks as well if you need to! . 2️⃣ To add core stability to this hip opener, lift the back leg off the mat. Keep the heel of the back foot high, and the thigh of the back foot as straight as possible, and firmly press the back thigh up. Keep the thighs pressing towards each other to keep balanced, and try to still sit the hips low. Again either palms or forearms can be on the floor. . 3️⃣ To make this an outer hip opener, roll the front foot to outer edges of the foot, and use the opposite palm to push the knee out. You can try to straighten that arm as you try to sit the hips low. You can add a twist by looking over the shoulder, keeping the chest open. . 4️⃣ Adding a bind to this pose requires more hip opening (as the shoulder needs to go under the knee), hip stability and core stability. Avoid the hips shifting to one side by trying to press the thighs towards each other. And keep pressing the thigh of the back foot up, heels high. . 5️⃣ This quad stretch variation can be quite intense. To make it less intense, use the same hand of the back foot to grab the foot from the outside and pull it in towards the bum. To add intensity, use the opposite hand to grab the foot from under the body to pull it in towards the bum (as shown here) . 6️⃣ If you’re working to get the foot behind the head, this lizard variation is a good place . Back pain - what poses you do? Usually all other poses just add to the stiffness of muscles but halasana and not the perfectly aligned one, but with curved out back (like the variation I am showing here) helps the most to me. Although when my back is stiff even getting close to halasana can be really discomformatble. . My back really does feel stiff today, almost like I will get a back muscle cramp so I decided to do some halasana variations to show you. . This video is 4 times speed up so keep in mind I was doing this really slowly. Breathing deeply through all poses waiting for the release in the muscles. . Good night all . Let's talk hips. Hips are major joints in our body and we use them in most of the movements in everyday life like walking, sitting and even in some of the laying positions. . All that I am showing can be used as a preparation for the more advanced hip poses but please do warm up the lower back as well before attempting any more complex hip pose. . These are all gentle hip movements but please make sure not to go pass the point of comfort.
