Starting the self practice on Mondays takes a bit of convincing as the mind says ”do surya namaskaras only or else don’t do deep back bending or don’t stress yourself with jump throughs and jumpbacks”, even though the body is 100% ready It is this murmuring mind that we have to calm down so that it can be at peace instead of hoping like a monkey from one task to the other without completing even one fully As it is rightly said by senior Guruji Sri K Pattabhi Jois “Body is not stiff, Mind is stiff.” Hence everyday practice helps us to have an open mind to allow new possibilities to take place✨

Dynamics and explosiveness... I wouldn’t say it is necessarily important to incorporate this kind of movement into your routine, but if you are looking for a challenge, I recommend it.
