200hr YTTC is finally done! It makes me sad, excited and happy at the same time.
It gave me a chance to cross paths with an amazing bunch of people, made me laugh so much that my abs decided to hurt, ate the best dosas, found muscles in my body that I didn't know existed and the best part? Got a chance to be mentored by some remarkable and sublime teachers who I look up to immensely.
Couldn't have asked for any other kind of 12 hour days!
I also cannot stress on the people because I don't think our paths would've converged if not for yoga, and it is incredible how we were all so different, yet, our centers revolve around this beautiful practice.
Also, don't be fooled by their innocent faces, these yogis know how to have their fun when it comes to punking people.
All you guys are very special and apologies if any of you were not pranked.

Et voilà. Demain matin, c’est notre dernière pratique tous ensemble, à 6h30, de la première série d’ashtanga, menée par 3 élèves, pour clore nos « évaluations » avant la remise des certificats dimanche matin.
Ma tristesse se mêle à une joie immense d’avoir vécu une des plus belles expériences de ma vie.
Je me suis donc offerte une jolie robe pour fêter ça ☀️
C’est fou tout ce qu’on a vécu et je suis très étonnée de la sérénité avec laquelle j’ai traversé tout ça. Je n’ai craqué qu’une fois, et je suis fière de moi
Je vais profiter des précieuses dernières heures avant de partir quelques jours à Pondichery me remettre de mes émotions, et je suis très excitée à l’idée de tout ce qui m’attend à mon retour !

Мысль об обучении на английском языке давно мелькала в голове. Когда приехала в #гоа в ноябре, сразу приметила обучающий центр @yoganisarga в Ашвеме, познакомилась с его основателем, узнала программу, стоимость и... отложила эту мысль до лучших времён. Мне понравилась программа, и сумма была не заоблачной, но все же надо было ее заработать и выделить на учебу месяц.
В итоге все сложилось наилучшим образом, как я и загадывала) К концу сезона я улучшила практику английского, благодаря дружбе с девушкой с Гавайских островов; хорошо поработала; переехала в соседний с обучающими центром дом и в низкий сезон в апреле смогла полностью посвятить себя учебе. Честно говоря, это очень трудно, но настолько же интересно. Длительность курса - 24 дня. За все время только 3 выходных.
♀️ Ежедневно по 4-5 часов практики аштанга и хатха йоги, начиная с 6:45, финиш - в 18:00
Плюс теория - философия, анатомия, базовая аюрведа, искусство преподавания, и ещё несколько предметов ждут впереди.
Все, естественно, на английском)
Есть варианты с проживанием и питанием, для приезжающих сюда специально на курс, мне это было не актуально. Но иногда меня угощают обедами и завтраками, и это лучшая индийская еда, которую я пробовала)
По окончании получу (надеюсь, что сдам экзамен ) сертификат международного образца от Йога альянса, а главное, бесценные знания и навыки ведения занятий на английском языке.
Ничуть не жалею, что не поехала в Ришикеш, так как преподавательский состав здесь блестящий, учителя объясняют сложные вещи простым языком. Кроме того, мне повезло, наша группа маленькая из-за низкого сезона в Гоа, и курс выходит практически индивидуальным, с ответами на все вопросы.

the last month I’ve been living and sharing life with these beautiful people in Dhyan Mandir Ashram in Rishikesh. I came with barely no expectations and left so enriched with so much new knowledge and understanding about this body I’m living in and what it carries inside. In just four weeks we became like a family. Individuals as different as they can be, coming together experiencing oneness and understanding that in the end we’re all the same and nothing differs us from each other. This whole month was a huge challenge and brought me to and beyond my limits many times. I went through all kinds of emotions and feelings and sometimes it felt endless! But in the end this whole month passed so fast! zap - within a second we’re all yoga teachers :D unbelievable actually! It’s such a gift, such a blessing and honour to be entrusted to carry all this knowledge we gained into the world and help making a change and a difference in each and everyone of us. At the same time it comes with lots of responsibilities. There is still so much to learn and I guess the path towards attaining the state of yoga must seem endlessly! I can’t wait to keep walking on this path, making new experiences, gaining more understanding and keep growing! Oh devine mother, keep guiding this child of yours while it’s wandering on this earth!

➡️ So heading to Day 3 of #TimeToFlipTheGrip challenge, we show you Upward Facing Dog or Cobra Pose to keep working on the spinal extension.
.
Tips: it’s important to be conscious about the spine extension. Make sure you’re not dumping the whole weight and only extend the lumbar spine.
Instead, engage your abs and glutes and open your chest! Feel the extension in the upper back and engage upper back muscles by bringing shoulder blades slightly together and down (shoulders away from the ears).
You’ll feel the stretch in your chest and then take deep breathes by directing the inhalation to the chest as well.

If you feel tension in the lumbar spine, try a Cobra Pose variation where you have your pelvis and lower body on the floor and you get to isolate the extension in the upper back. .
