So we had some time Tuesday.. We wanted to do something impactful & community building with it meaningful chiros time not chronos time measured in moments not minutes... @ash_empire.yxe grabbed her chair, shears, clippers , comb and what turned out to be a superhero cape. We found a shaded spot on a +28 on the corner of 21st & 2nd ave. #empireonthestreet was full of hard truths, tears, newly formed friendships, gut-busting laughter and some #selfcare & #love that seems to be unattainable for some who call downtown #yxe #home. The community that gathered was beyond expectation. Allowing us to extend grace, share our talents to care for someone we likely see everyday was such an honour for our team. Joanne, J, Dustin, Jaimie Spike and all who came out and shared in the experience of #empireonthestreet. Thank you for sharing your stories, street smarts & being vulnerable. It left us with full ♥️ @empire_yxe, new friends & was a day we will repeat. Our purpose is to bring light wherever we are, whatever we may do.
