#7weeks with our cute little peach and I don’t think I’ll ever get enough of her I also had my 6 week postpartum appointment today and I am feeling great. It’s so crazy how with every passing day I feel more and more myself again. Pregnancy is so hard for me in that way! I love feeling like my normal, happy, adventurous self. Cheers to being 7 weeks postpartum and 7 weeks of pure joy with my little love.

Exactly one year ago today my beautiful Goddaughter Chiara entered the world, a lot sooner than we expected as her mama had the same due date as I have this time around, only one year earlier. Today reminds me of how tiny she was, not even 2 kilos and how much I was hoping she was going to be okay. How overwhelmed I was when we finally met her and her parents asked me to be her Godmother. She has grown into such a happy and strong little girl and I couldn’t feel more blessed to carry that name and take that role upon me ❤️ Today also reminds me of my own pregnancy with Aurélie. 34,5 weeks pregnant realising I was having contractions, going into the hospital just wishing and hoping I wasn’t going to deliver her that night. As much I was so excited to meet her & couldn’t wait to hold her in my arms, I kept hoping she would stay in my belly a little while longer and grow a little more before she would enter the world. Luckily she did. This time around we’re really taking things slow, I try to relax as much as I can, have naps when Aurélie does, take baths to soften my belly and really listen to what my body can handle. Again, I really cannot wait to meet our daughter. Curious to see if she looks like her big sister, what her personality is like & how Aurélie will react to her presence. Only a matter of weeks now ❤️

Yes, I’m posting twice today. But guess what⁣ ⁣ I just hit a HUGE milestone: A 20-mile week! ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ Most of you know I’ve been “struggling” with running & fitness in general this pregnancy versus my last two. Ultimately, every pregnancy is different and my life overall is just different right now! But I’m proud for sticking with it, embracing slower paces, and being happy with lower mileage.⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ I don’t think I’ve seen my Garmin read 20 miles in a 7-day span since January. Heck, I pretty much ran 6-9 miles per week through Feb-March-April-May. And in the last 48 hours alone? I ran 9 miles!⁣⁣ N I N E! My mind is blown!⁣ ⁣ And right after I finished, I rode that high RIGHT to the @bostonmarathon website and snagged one of the last spots for the BAA10k in 3 weeks! ⁣⁣⁣‍♀️⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ I’ll be #27weekspregnant on race day, and I haven’t run more than 5-6 miles at a time since January. I’ll probably take regular walk breaks and easily take over an hour to finish. But SO WHAT?!⁣ ⁣⁣ I’m so excited that I have this OPPORTUNITY—I get to run in a BAA race, while I live in Boston, DESPITE all the challenges I’ve faced this year!⁣⁣⁣ Celebrating it all — surviving #2under2, moving across the country, starting grad school again, my postpartum comeback, my surprise pregnancy, the whole shebang.⁣ ⁣ I’m ready for a my victory lap through Back Bay! ✨

We decided to be bold today and went to the movies to see Aladdin!! You guys, it was so good. Exceeded my expectations by a landslide. It was so fun taking Zara and see her watch one of my favorite movies as a kid. We sang, we danced, we ate “snanty” (candy in Zara language)... it was a blast. Now can it be July so we can see Lion King? #makesthemoviesbetter

32 weeks and 3 days!! so ready for this to be over, every day i eat ramen noodles, mashed potatoes, and corn ‍♀️ and that’s pretty much it. i am so in love with this bonnet from @minimaecrochet and this swaddle from @littlelunacompany how perfect will these be for some newborn pictures?! i can’t wait to see him in them. so soon it will be oliver in this basket instead of an ultrasound picture

My first official day completely alone with my girls (and the next 3 days...). To be honest, I was pretty nervous and may or may not have cried after dropping my husband off at the airport but we survived!! I repeat, we survived. Zara was so good today and was so helpful with Imogen. Getting her binky, closing her diapers, cleaning up her spit up, giving her kisses... let’s hope these next few days stay that way
