Same ole dress, just a different day! The picture on the left depicts exactly how I felt...depressed and unhappy. I remember my mom took this pic...and I cried after looking at it cause I was so disappointed in myself. I didn’t understand how I allowed myself to get to that point....The picture on the right is a completely different story. It’s funny because people see me now and automatically assume I’ve always been this size....to get here I HAD to change my MINDSET and stop making EXCUSES. This progress alone keeps me going and lets me know the hard times (sticking to my workout/meal plan) are definitely all worth it! Still a long way to go in terms of building muscle and burning off this extra fat, but I’m definitely enjoying the road to the stage and the constant changes I’ve seen in my body!

My coach @ifbbpronataliacoelho and I are not slowing down now! I just competed a few weeks ago, placing 7th in my very 1st Pro show. I am very happy with the improvements we’ve made and how far we’ve come.

Really needed the spot on this one, 205 for 5 I failed this 3 weeks in a row. After I hit this I hit 210 for 5 but my recording failed fml. 225 for 5 in 3 weeks.

Starting week 6 of prep! Being on prep is not easy, but I’m loving the self-discipline and dedication that it takes. Seeing my body transform over these past few weeks has been so motivating and makes it all worth it! I’ve had to remind myself a few times that it takes time to achieve your goals. Motivation comes and goes but staying consistent is so important when it comes to achieving those goals. After being at school and working all day sometimes going to the gym is the last thing that I want to do. I have to remind myself why I’m doing it and how it’s going to be worth it in the end.
