Some people have probably thought I was crazy throughout the years, but I find that goal setting is the secret of successful people. Not dreaming things or wishing for them, but writing them down and then reverse engineering a plan to make it happen. There are a lot of excuses I could use to justify being mediocre in life, but instead I took my setbacks and used them as fuel to make my life better. The only person I can control is myself. Here’s my #accountabilitymirror. Literally changed my life. On the right side I put things I wanted. On the left side I put things I’m doing to upgrade my being. In the middle was my biggest challenge: Waking up at 5:30AM. The blue notes are my thoughts. Yellow notes are data. I put checks on the notes each time I accomplish something to see my progress. Seeing my goals multiple times a day really helped set them in motion. I had many false beliefs around waking up early, so it took extra encouragement (reprogramming) to have the desire turn into action (see 2nd photo). I got this idea from @davidgoggins while listening to his new book Can’t Hurt Me. I listed to it every morning while walking to yoga at 5:45am. It has created a frequency of abundance in my life. More is getting done. More is opening up. More opportunities are coming my way. I have an abundance of time. I’ve gone to yoga for the last 30 days in a row, taken hip hop dance classes for the last 3 weeks, tried a west African dance class, finished the first episode of my podcast... Now that I’ve had this up for a few weeks, I’m going to reevaluate it, set new goals, reorganize it and continue to upgrade my avatar. ✨

Mindset + Accountability + Consistency . . That is the recipe to success in any goal you set for yourself. . This is a 15 week difference, the start of October to today. I can’t wait to see what another 15 weeks brings me. The growth isn’t just physical it’s mental, spiritual and it’s me proving to me I can do anything I truly put my mind too. . I can choose to change or I can choose to think about change. It’s up to me take action and make it happen! Take accountability, no one is going to change your life for you it’s up to you! Own it, face the music; if you don’t love every bit of your life it is on you to change it! There is no magic pill that says poof you are a billionaire, healthy, full of purpose and life. It takes work, inner healing, removing fear and doubt and growth on growth daily!! That daily grind is what makes you your best self! ❤️The dedication to yourself will bleed in every area of your life and you will demand more for yourself because you realize you are worth it! . Change your mindset to believe in you, fuel your mind with growth! Surround yourself with people that push you to grow mentally, physically and spiritually. . Hold yourself accountable to you; remove your excuses, shut that little inner voice off that says you aren’t worth it! You have all you need right now for any goal, just take action! . Then stay consistent don’t give up, grind it out day in and day out. You will fall, but get your ass back up and push harder! Life is full of lessons, every time I fall I learn something that helps me grow. . You are worth it, it’s just you vs. you! You want it...go for it it!! It starts and end with you! I believe in you, do you? .
