Sure i had a bit, but after going through THIS ☝ i wouldn’t say i ever struggled with acne ⠀ So here i was, in excruciating pain. I could hardly lay down, it hurt to talk, i couldn’t really smile, my face was leaking, i was terrified of going into sepsis {again} people stared at me like i was an alien .... ⠀ With no one ‍♀️ to blame this on. I thought it MUST have been something I’d done...didn’t do? Did too much of? Too little of? i drove myself crazy, until the one day i said to myself ✋ this has gotta stop. It wasn’t a cosmetic product, my pillowcase, my bedsheets, how i wash or didn’t wash my face, it wasn’t the effing dairy , my waterintake, my cellphone, my hands or the sugar. ⠀ here’s the thing y’all. They couldn’t figure out WHY this happened to me. So one day i just decided to accept this fact. It happened. I couldn’t change it. BUT i COULD change one thing: my attitude. ⠀ That’s when i realized that i wanted to share this journey with others. Because there’s no way i was alone...even tho i felt alone. So if i felt that way, then others must too! this experience changed my LIFE. My best tips for covering acne scarring. I've been dealing with adult acne and hyper-pigmentation, so these makeup techniques have really helped me out recently that I wanted to make sure I share with you all.Swipe to make sure you don't miss this short two part video! I'm also giving my favorite @lauramercier Translucent Powder away to one of you - simply comment down below with your favorite face makeup product! ⁣ ⬇️Tips mentioned below⁣⬇️ Color correct using a primer or concealer. Green counteracts red - here I'm using the @smashboxcosmetics Color Correcting Face Primer⁣ ⁣ Use a small dense brush with a full coverage concealer and pat onto areas with redness - I used the @realtechniques brush with the @tartecosmetics Shape Tape Concealer in "Light Medium Honey"⁣ ⁣ Also use a dense brush with liquid foundation and stipple/pat throughout the face - here I'm using @realtechniques with @dermablendpro foundation in "Sepia"⁣ ⁣ Use a foundation or concealer a few shades deeper than your complexion for bronzer. A powder bronzer will move the product on your skin around which we dont want - I used @coverfx Total Cream Foundation in G80 with a dense brush⁣ ⁣ Set everything with fluffy brush and pat into the skin with a setting powder like the @lauramercier "Translucent" Powder⁣ ⁣ Did this video help you out?!

Social media anxiety . . After our chitchat on social media anxiety last night I thought I’d post this pic of unedited real life. Most of y’all said that you get fomo, compare yourselves to IG models, or feel that you’re falling behind/missing out in life. LET ME TELL YOU- you are doing great sweetie!! You’re on your own path doing your own thing and I think that’s awesome. As someone who hasn’t taken the most conventional life path (married at 18, moving every year, etc etc.) I can tell y’all life is a journey and everyone’s will be so different!! Doesn’t make anyone better than anyone else. Most of the time no one really knows what they’re doing, we just gotta fake it till we make it bby. . . ALSO I get social media anxiety too, but mine is more like- “ will they understand what I’m trying to say/ will they care?” Feeling overwhelmed that I might accidentally say something wrong or hurt someone’s feelings! Sometimes I feel vulnerable too, like I’ve shared too much and that makes me scared (even right now in this moment I’m like omg why am I sharing this? I’ve had too much coffee ) And feeling guilty that I can’t answer every single DM, or be friends with everyone (even tho I want to !!!).. I’ve learned that I’m not everyone’s cup of tea, and not everyone’s going to like me- and that’s okay. In the end you don’t really need anyone to like you but yourself ‍♀️ . . All that being said: here is a pic from right now in this exact moment feat watery puffy eyes from allergies, forehead peeling from my sunburn (don’t @ me!!
