The experience that I've had as a @litvconcert team member has been an incredible learning, to think my role was to only take care of some costume and prop designs couldn't be more wrong. I am right now in the control panel room finishing my tasks for the Twitch people, I bet you can imagine the situation (as I go figuring one thing I learn another, but thanks God I made the cut for what they ask for. It's getting there!) I feel very good with the team despite missing my family and friends in CR, but I've been so full of tasks that I believe is helping a lot,emotionally speaking. Keeping the mind busy is always healthy and welcome for changes like this one. This is the first oil painting that I make in this format, and tomorrow will be open for those who are coming to the concert or just visiting the lobby. The place is decorated with banners that I managed to finish in LA before coming to Denver, and the hallway leading to the concert have a mini exhibition with the acrylic paintings made for the Kickstarter backers. Tomorrow is the big day. IT'S HAPPENING! This one is so far the biggest and most challenging project I've been part of. It's been extremely hard and stressful but inspiring and amazing at the same time. A year ago I decided to change my life and look for what makes me feel complete, to find meaning in what I do. Moving to Los Angeles (not long ago) was the scariest decision, but the moment I arrived, I knew this was going to be insane! (in every sense). In this case, I'm not only making arts for @litvconcert, I'm in charge of art direction, including their image in social media, website, using my cosplay skills for prop making (high fives*), designing t-shirts, CD's and vinyl mockups, and lots and lots of little details! (that's why I said those cosplay nights before the convention taught me very well, but they're easy peasy compared with this baby ) I'm still learning, I'm just starting, but God I feel like I'm where I needed to be now. We will never feel comfortable by taking this kind of chances, ever. But that's what makes life so interesting... So don't feel afraid of taking these leaps! In my case, to feel and create in order to present an idea in art form is what I wanted long ago, and I'm grateful to have a partner like @a.wintory that inspires the hell out of me and push me to do my best every day . @litvconcert will be streamed on Twitch this Oct 5th!
