I feel like I won the lottery!!! ⁣ ⁣ Legit Sitting here in tears as I write this.....⁣ ⁣ 90 days later we have come to an agreement on services for Tucker and have them written legally into his IEP!!! ⁣ ⁣ I can’t even count how many phone calls, meetings, evaluations and emails went on over the last few months BUT I’d do it all over again in second! ⁣ ⁣ He is worth all the stress and elevated cortisol levels! He is worth the up and downs in my health journey! He is worth all the fights!⁣ ⁣ Crazy thing....5 1/2 years ago I had about a year and a half long battle to help him get the proper support and services. AND during that time I found it hard to keep my hours at work, because I was in IEPS or getting called to pick him up from school due to eloping and/or aggressive behaviors. In fact my job only gave me Saturday shifts since I couldn’t commit to anything else. During that time I was at my unhealthiest (5’3 and 250 pounds) physically and mentally, then I was pregnant and then had a newborn!
