I struggled with the news of our 1st PCS location... I didn’t want to go... It wasn’t what I was planning on... BUT everyday since moving something has happened that has made me go... The last month it’s been #businessandbaby Up for the most part ever 2 hours feeding during the night so for the 15 mins little guy is getting his... Mama is hustling from her phone! After a long night last night nursing & working... working & nursing I was so excited to be up extra early - actually idk if I even got much sleep haha - to go to the airport to pick up my Mama & Sister who will be staying with us for a while. We came back to our house & unpacked. Had brunch. Took Big Brother to the library for story time. Then we went bowling of course! Now everyone is getting in a nap... well everyone except me... at least not yet! Got to get this little guy feed again & down. So again knocking out a little extra work to get ahead so I can be fully present + enjoy my time with my family while they are here! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ When I started this business 3.5 years ago my goal wasn’t to be the top in the company OR make the most money... But to start building a foundation in which I could be the kind of Mama I wanted to be.... To have a career that fulfills me but also allows me the FREEDOM & FLEXIBILITY to do all the SAHM things... although we are very early home haha... BUT again I the power to be fully present with my family when they are around! Today I’m grateful to be living out my vision. Monday’s for me used to look like... Rushing out the door... Heading to work... Practice... Tutoring... Teach... Teach... Tutoring... Practice... Meetings... Parent conference... Staff development... Planing curriculum... Grading... Until I finally got home around 8 pm & that wasn’t even having a game! It was exhausting! I loved teaching & coaching but all the other BS behind the sense was dragging me down - physically + mentally + emotionally. I felt trapped. Until... I saw a friend who was sharing about her life & this Coaching thing she was doing... The FREEDOM + FLEXIBILITY was so attractive to a me at the time who was 3 months away from getting married & knew that they wanted to start a family sooner than later... The FINANCIAL opportunity wasn’t bad either being that we were trying to figure out how to pay for last minute things for our wedding. Yes I had to spend some money to get started but it was an INVESTMENT in my own health & fitness that had taken a BIG hit in my CrAzY BUSY adulting life & was an aid in my not feeling good from the inside out. Fast forward... NOW every Monday I wake up & THANK my lucky stars that there was a different path waiting for me... All I had to do was take it. As a Mama of two my mornings - even though I still like them to be routine & structured haha you can take the teacher out of the classroom but can’t take the teacher out of the teacher - are at OUR pace! Being a SAHM + running a business out of my home can be a juggling act with kids... in a split second things can change! But I feel so BLESSED to be able to have teachable moments e v e r y single day with my tiny humans - from spiritual life TO physical self-care TO educational TO just the daily things that will help them be successful as they continue to grow in this world... My hours are still long. The pay is still bad. But the FULFILLMENT I get now of getting to help other women on their health + fitness + business journey in the cracks of my CrAzY BUSY Mama life by far exceeds all! There’s room for you too... I spent 38.5 weeks growing this little guy & absolutely adoring my pregnant belly. And honestly... I’m not hating my postpartum belly as much as I thought I would especially being my 2nd go at this!
