Hit 9/9 today at my first powerlifting comp. Weighed in at 57.2kg. Hit 125kg squat, 75kg bench and 132.5kg deadlift. I chose to prioritise 9 white lights over any ego lifts, so I achieved my goal there Got a 1st place in my category and best overall female unequipped lifter. 290kg squat/160kg bench/330.5kg deadlift at 104kg bodyweight... 780.5kg total which is a 2.5kg total PB and second place in England, missing out on first place by 2kg. Could say a hundred reasons as to why I didn't perform to the standard I expect of myself, but let's just say I'm gunna be back, and a lot fucking Stronger than ever. Enough dabbling with high bar, time to commit and go low bar. Fix the bench and annihilate the Deadlift. Meet day summary! 1st place 100kg class. Squat 222.5kg Bench 155kg Deadlift 262.5kg Total 640kg I’m going to upload all of my attempts separately but I want to use this post to thank everyone. Firstly I want to thank @beccaknott96 for making it easy for me with comp prep. The time needed to train leading up to comp got longer and I wasn’t seeing lil George as much and without becky helping me with time at the gym this wouldn’t of been possible darling. Love you ❤️ Secondly I want to thank @c_j_barney for perfect coaching and for impeccable handling on the day because if I was to decide the 3rd lift for all attempts I would have missed them!! **All England’s 2019** Most fun I’ve ever had at a meet, blown away as always by everyone’s support, the @mscperformance family are unreal. Went 8/9 and totalled 662.5kg, which is a 17.5kg total PB. Went 240kg #squat (2.5kg PB), 140kg #benchpress (5kg PB) and 282.5kg #deadlift (10kg PB). Missed 251kg Squat for a Stab at the British record before it gets annihilated at worlds but wasn’t to be.
