18 DPO and feeling great! Yesterday was my 2 week check up and was able to get another drain removed 3 down, 1 to go (prob another 2 weeks)! I weighed in at my pre-surgery weight of 189 I'm able to sit up and get out of the recliner on my own, FINALLY sleeping in my bed (lots of pillows), conitnue to walk hunched to ensure I heal properly. I was cleared to drive by my PCP but still not feeling super confident about it so we wait. Showers have gone from a 3 hour ordeal to 1 hour now that all the tape is off My breathing is back to normal! I had my first visit back with my therapist Catherine today Oh, how I've missed her! You’ll love my compression gear? Looks like I’ll be rocking this look for a while, and I def have to get used to it. I’ve never been one to wear Spanx or anything like that, bc I hate feeling like I’m being squeezed, but I guess I don’t have a choice. Today was a good day though and I felt better than I have in a while. I started working a little early, which I think helped me feel like myself again. As far as pain, I only had some aching in my chest, which seemed to improve with ibuprofen. Here is a VERY VERY unflattering picture of me. And a beautiful pic of my wife. She is almost 2 weeks post-op and here i am 4 days post-op. BUT i want to keep it real. 4 days after a tummy tuck and male breast reduction along with liposuction to the lateral chest and hip rolls. Underneath these compression garments is a ton of bruising, swelling, drains and scalpel wounds. But also underneath is a new, sculpted body that brings me new confidence. After my weight loss surgery years ago i still wanted to get those problem areas. So that’s what i did. @eastcoastdoll_mua Had a much needed breast reduction/lift, extended tummy tuck and lipo sculpting. And @drdavidpincus and his team has been amazing!
