Went mad in @walmart and had a shopping spree! So many $5 glad rags for me to rock on the school run! It was rather exciting. What is my fucking life?! ___ My sister showed me to the gym wear section as I believe she is worried about the selection of profanity clad tshirts I have potentially brought with me to wear to her Christian gym. Oh ye of little faith! ___ I thought I've not had a panic attack for a while so I made my way down the makeup aisle. There is an entire floor to (almost) ceiling section just for brushes. What the fuck are all those things used for? Have I been asleep for 15 years? When did all these sponges and odd shaped tools for applying makeup appear? No wonder people add me to fb and while their name sounds mildly familiar, I can't bloody recognise them! Next time I'm taking my phone so I can Google that shit. I entertained my inner childless, glamorous, ladylike human and bought some liquid eyeliner. I can't even type this without laughing. I'll probably wear it once to satisfy my alter ego that I have neither the skill, patience nor the god damn time to apply liquid eyeliner. Plus liquid eye liner is for wearing to nice bars that serve posh, over priced cocktails and hors d'oeuvres whose names I cannot pronounce. Places I cannot go because I have children and cannot afford, also because I have children. Can't start wearing that on the school run or to shuttle my kids around to their various mandatory "I'm-a-good-mom" extra curricular activities and fifty-seven bazillion birthday parties, can I? For people to know that's the extent of my social life? Don't be so stupid! It’s throwback Thursday and national bump day in several countries across the globe. Truth be told, no photos were shared during the pregnancy and on our private FB pages, the little one was first publicly shared on Father’s Day (May in Germany) at three months old. Lori explains (the whole reasoning behind keeping the pregnancy quiet) more in detail on the Instagram page. The LCBERS who have been following us there found out too in May.
