Does it worry you to lose all your muscle with endless cardio? ✅ This is the beauty behind circuit training *and HIIT* - you have the chance to increase your lean mass and also obtain an amazing amount of expenditure that can lead to fat loss. No matter what your goals are, circuit training can be a great tool to utilize every so often to switch it up and keep your heart healthy too! be sure to TURN ON MY POST NOTIFS, so you don’t miss my workouts, and other fun things. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ : ball out for 40 seconds, move right into the next movement - and keep a 90 second rest between each round. Complete 3-4 times, or as desired! 1▫️BALL SLAMS | down into a squat position to overhead raise, one fluid movement 2▫️SINGLE LEG HIP BRIDGE *off med ball* | keep core tight, with one stiff leg, squeeze up and repeat 3▫️FROG PUMP | ideally feet are in butterfly position but focus on your knees being pushed out with a narrow stance on the ball.. peep the volleyball roll out 4▫️ALT REVERSE LUNGES | keep a semi forward hinge while going back to keep weight in front heel and hit the glutes and hams. 5▫️LAWN MOWERS | also called a KB power snatch, again one fluid movement no breakup in between. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Checkout my IG story for some daily inspo and hype up if you’re feeling down. Need a quick workout that you can do anywhere? - Maybe you don’t have a lot of time to workout today, or maybe you can’t get to the gym. Those days are going to happen. And for those days, having some quick effective workouts that you can do anywhere is key. You don’t need any weights for this circuit, but you *could* add weight to all of these exercises (except the reaching plank - it’s perfect as-is) if you want to take this up a notch. - Here’s how I want you to try it: - ➡️4 Rounds as quickly as possible with perfect technique. - ✅ Pause Squats x 8. Add a legit 2-3 second pause down low. Add a Band above the knees for some extra resistance. ✅Hands Elevated Push Ups x 8 (or on the floor). ✅Alt. Reverse Lunges x 8/leg. ✅Glute bridges x 10 (SQUUEEEZE YO Butt). Add a band above the knees. ✅ Hand Walkouts x 6. ✅Slow Reaching Plank - 3 x 8/arm (super slow). - Try not to rest until after the slow reaching plank. - Want to up the challenge without adding weight? Add 1/2 reps to the squats, push ups, Lunges, and Glute Bridges Hang on, because that’s gonna take things up a notch or two! - Look, fitness is not an all or nothing thing. You don’t have to spend 2 hours at the gym. The cool thing is we can get creative, and make the best of our current or changing circumstances, and STILL MAKE PROGRESS! So, if you haven’t started, or have gotten a little bit off track, it’s time to go. - Give this workout a try, and let me know how it goes! - Love you.
