Our monthly potluck/skillshare synchronized perfectly with Memorial Day today: Honoring & respecting the warriors who came before us, along with the weapons used as tools of protection (and for providing). . We explored our mental & physical capabilities through playing with recurve bows, a compound bow, different throwing knives, throwing hatchets, tomahawks, blow darts, and handgun training. . Many thanks to our friends who set up a fun backyard arena for us to safely learn these weapons. Save the Date ☀️ Big Sur !! Mercado Sagrado will assemble its first Northern California gathering this June amongst the mystic redwoods of Big Sur, at the site of the old Village Shops. A residency of sorts, the happening will take place over a four week period, commencing and concluding with an all day, community celebration. Y’all my very first Crawfish boil after I’m almost a year now in Louisiana! For those who don’t know, Crawfish boil is Louisiana own delicacy. This traditional food is well-known as a social food in the gathering for family and friends. Yesterday, I finally had a chance to taste it because our coolest community threw this Crawfish boil party!! And of course I liked it SO much! It was surprisingly spicy, so definitely was great for my Asian appetite lol! Thank you so much, @citiscapeessen I will never forget all memoir of my firsts! ✨
