NO PRODUCT VS. PRODUCTS. ✨ . . Okay, let’s talk about products. I always get messages from people that want to know exactly what products I use because they want their hair to look like mine. First of all, I don’t want you to desire to have MY hair. I want you to embrace YOUR own hair, and focus on having healthy hair, NOT a certain hair type. Yes, having defined curls is cool , but if your curls aren’t super defined it is OKAY. It doesn’t mean you don’t have healthy hair. Secondly, products DO NOT create curls, they only enhance what is already there. Lastly, healthy hair starts during the washing process, focus on using products that enhance the OVERALL health of your hair, not ones that only provide the APPEARANCE of healthy hair. Also, products are not one-size fit all. Just because a product works for me that doesn’t not mean it’s guaranteed to work for you. I learned along time ago that you have to experiment with different things in order to discover what you hair REALLY likes.
