This amazing lady is the founder of @cancervantsph, an organization of child cancer advocates which aims to promote awareness, spread hope, and breed proactive Filipinos. Last weekend, I got to know some of the child cancer patients they are helping. As a parent, it broke my heart to see kids as young as my son suffering from the disease. If only we could take their pain away. Pero bilib ako sakanila!These kids are by far the toughest people I've met in my life. Nakakangiti at tawa pa din sila, nakakapaglaro ng normal, as if they're not going through something difficult in their life. I only wish that I have their courage and grit. Of course, the day wouldn't have been possible without the big help of @cheekymonkeysmanila. They were kind enough to let the kids have an afternoon of fun and games along with some members of @pinoy501st Thank you Mots and your whole team at for helping these kids. We need more people like you who are selfless enough to help those who are in greater need. I only wish I could make the same difference. Natutulog ang mga ate kanina. Tapos si Zed pinapatulog ko rin pero hindi siya makatulog. Naf-frustrate na ako kasi marami pa akong trabaho. Sumuko ako sa pagpapatulog kay Zed so lumabas kami ng kwarto. Bihira yun. Hindi ako basta-basta sumusuko lalo 'pag sa mga anak ko. Tapos biglang lumindol. Sobrang kalmado akong tao pag dating sa mga ganyan pero kanina first time kong nakaramdam ng takot dahil sa lindol. Hindi ko alam kung ilalapag ko si Zed para buhatin ang mag ate o hihilahin ko na lang sila so I can bring them to the safest part of the house. Buti na lang nagising sila. Sa hilo ko, hindi ko na naisip na mas safe kung bababa kami ng building dahil baka may aftershock pa until tumawag yung lobby guard at pinababa kami. May dalawang nag assist sa amin since alam nilang I have 3 kids at wala kaming yaya or kahit house helper. We went down and saw our ninang at ninong sa kasal na matagal na naming hindi nakikita. They live sa kabilang tower lang. We learned na sila pala yung nagsabi sa guard that we're still here sa unit. Thank God for people like them! Pero more than sa concern nila, sa saglit na kwentuhan namin, gumaan yung pakiramdam ko with the thought that they know exactly what we're going through as a family even if we don't tell them. Wala rin silang yaya. Homeschooled din kids nila, etc. God used the scary earthquake para mabawasan yung frustrations ko of not really getting all my tasks done. Fresh pa yang picture na yan. Si Zed tulog na. Grabe effect ng lindol noh? Nakakakinis masyado ng mukha. Haha! Thank God din pala kahit hilo na ako, naalala kong pa mag underwear bago bumaba. Tapos yung nakuha kong shirt, nakalagay yung isa sa mga fave verses ko. Yung Romans 8:28. Hope you're all safe fam! #TheClingyFam #SAHDandHappy
