She said, “I am feeling extremely grateful! ⁣✨ 4 years ago I went from living a daily nightmare, to a life that was finally allowing me to live my dreams.⁣ ⁣ I was on dialysis for 2 years before finally receiving a kidney. Dialysis keeps you alive but you say that you are living, is a joke because life on dialysis doesn’t exist. There were so many days that I felt hopeless, lost & honestly just ready to give up. ⁣ ⁣ BUT IT DOESN’T HAVE TO BE THIS WAY⁣ Everyone is born with 2 kidneys & thanks to the magic of the human body, a healthy person only needs ONE kidney to live! My kidney donor was a living donor & guess what?! She’s living her best life & the on top is that she now is an advocate for people like me & a voice for living organ donors. ⁣ ⁣ ➡️Since my transplant life has done a complete 180. I love my life & wake up every single day with intention to make my 2nd chance at life worth it. Very few people can say that they have been given a 2nd chance at life but by some miracle my guardian angel @c_lard found me & made the selfless choice to give a piece of herself so I could live. There are no amounts of thank you that would express my complete gratitude but today & everyday I am so unbelievably THANKFUL ” ⁣

I dried tears of which I did not even know the reasons, and I changed my mind about lost hearts and broken dreams. I gave the best of myself to too many people by giving them the strength to start over. I heard life stories and problems even when they were not more important than mine... I listened again and again. Because, I always thought that when something makes you suffer, it is never unimportant. I caught trains off the tracks, putting them back on track to the right destinations. I walked again and again. I walked years in this direction with a kindness mentality with the mind willing to lose something of myself to give to others, because they could regain confidence, the strength to continue and start over. Yet, I never managed to find that peace of mind in me, I always doubted my abilities. As if life had stripped me of my inner light trial after trials. I often went down for fear of failing. They were very little to really know my thoughts. I have nothing to regret, because I have continued to hope for any circumstance. Today, I do not regret any choice. I am not ashamed of the path I chose. I have been myself, I have been every time I loved because every time « I love you" that came out of my mouth was true and often it took me months and years to bury this feeling. I have never lied about my love or played with people. I was myself even when I put myself out! I was perhaps even more so when I was calm, because the pain stirred all inside and by being too hurt it brought out the tenacity. Hard knocks, bring out the real face of people. Now, I feel good at this point in my life. I will put a point to this suffering. I start again with the strengths that remain to me while preserving my values. Wishing that insecurities will slip on me instead of tears on my face. It will be the silences that will be deafening, against the cries that mean nothing.
