Buzz Lightyear standing guard by the Alien Swirling Saucers in Toy Story Land! ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ • When designing the layout of their parks Disney aims to give each area its own identity, while simultaneously creating a smooth transition from one to another. Keeping that in mind, it is no accident that Buzz Lightyear was placed where he is. • Much like Woody is there to greet guests at the current entrance, Buzz Lightyear will be the gatekeeper at the south entrance. Right now there is a dead end by the Alien Swirling Saucers but soon that will open up and allow guests to walk freely between Toy Story Land and Galaxy’s Edge. • The transition from another planet, to space toys, to Andy’s backyard is a simple but ingenious one. It is yet another example of Disney’s effort to provide diverse entertainment that still seems to flow so naturally.

Hey guys! Quick update to my post back on Tuesday. There was a rumor that the Land and Sea pavilions in Epcot were planned to be demolition sometime between 2024 and 2026. Well those rumors are seemingly FALSE. A couple of days ago Walt Disney World Today denied the validity of this rumor via Twitter saying... • “...There are big plans for Epcot. While the Park does have new pavilions joining, like the play-themed pavilion and the Guardians of the Galaxy-themed roller coaster, The Land and The Seas with Nemo & Friends are planned to be with us into the future.” • So it doesn’t look like these rumors are true. To be completely fair here, even if Disney DID have plans to remove either one of these pavilions in the far off future, they would probably announce it in their own time - as opposed to answering the concerns of Disney fans. Seeing as this rumor didn’t have that much evidence supporting it, I doubt that any such plans exist. We can all exhale for now.
