The exercises Win is doing with the TRX straps are amazing!! Love seeing him do sets of squats by himself. He tried having the ball between his knees today to keep them from touching and it positions him so well . Thinking we need to figure out a system at home to continue using the TRX straps. Another awesome exercise from Win’s @napacenter team! Blown away by all that they have Win doing and how much he is able to do . He’s doing a leg press here and trying it with the ball in between his knees to help with his position. His hips are internally rotated and his knees tend to kiss in these movements. Today was Roman’s last day of intensive therapy in St. Louis . He took his new max of 30 steps in a row. Anyone who knows him, knows that he is a social butterfly. Day 2 of NAPA therapy intensive is in the books and while not every moment looked quite so cheery... this girl is SO proud of herself. She knows when she’s accomplished something hard! Seeing her face light up when she does something like stand up from the floor or take steps up and down with way less support than usual is just the best. She already loves all her therapists, talks about them by name, and gives them hugs and snuggles. I’m not going to lie, the first days are hard on everyone. The first days are spent evaluating and learning what she can and CANNOT do which can feel pretty heavy and leave a lot to unpack for us as parents. Already on day two though we’re seeing Eleanor work SO hard.
