But now it’s drop week & I need to go over some important info, like bonnet fit! . So, a bonnet should fit like this I have put measurements & how to measure your baby's on the website so just click "RELEASE DAY FAQs" linked in my profile. It's there (about halfway down the page) you’ll find not only a list of measurements & corresponding sizes, but you'll get to see a really poor quality video of me measuring Leia's head When you measure, keep in mind the numbers are for the bonnet to fit SNUG, like the one you see here. If your baby is measuring right at those numbers & you want room for growth, size up. But know that the bonnet won't fit perfectly until your baby reaches the full measurements in that size. Does that make sense? So right now, if I were ordering bonnets for Leia (who is 3), I would get 12-18 because she measures right at those numbers. Bonnets for fall/winter I would do 18-24. Leia wore size 6-12 bonnets for over a year & has been in 12-18 now for about the same time. So, if your child is anything like mine the bonnet will fit for a very long time. . One more thing to keep in mind is my bonnets are all made from preloved materials so some of them fit a bit different than others. The weave of linen, tightly woven cotton, rayon fabric all have different ways of fitting on the body, just like with clothing. If you have a bonnet now that you LOVE the fit, I recommend sticking with that style fabric. You can see all of the fabrics I use for these bonnets Thursday at 10 am EST in the live stream! . They can often times tell from a picture what size bonnet you'd need so don't be shy about asking for help there, they are the best group of mothers you could ever ask for ️ .
