Clean Bee is unique in that it has a really satisfying lather, while still being HYDRATING. Even though I have other foaming cleansers, none of them leave my skin feel like there has been added hydration. This is really nice and gentle, and I was happy to see that it contains some of my favourite ingredients: Turmeric and Licorice Root Extract - amongst lots of other great stuff. oh and it smells nice too! I personally like to remove my make up beforehand and then use this device to second cleanse after I've applied my all time favourite cleanser (Glow tonic cleansing gel by @pixibeauty ). I then lightly wet the head of the device, press the button once and lightly press it against my skin and slowly move it around my face in gentle upward strokes, i do this for a few minutes and then rinse and pat dry. I hate it when I don't care for a #Cosrx product. I love the brand. I love the simplicity, gentleness, and effectiveness of their classic products, from the acids to the rice and honey sleeping packs. I love the sense I've always gotten from Cosrx, that this is a brand that really knows how to treat skin well. But I've felt ambivalent about a lot of the newer releases, and when I finally got around to grabbing the most intriguing one for me, the Centella Cleansing Powder, I found myself pretty disappointed. At a pH of about 5.5, the cleanser itself is...fine. Mixed with water, the finely milled powder quickly transforms to a thin but acceptable foam. It doesn't smell like anything, it doesn't bother my skin, and it cleanses fine. It is quite gentle, more so than their low pH gel cleanser, so that's a good thing. My problem with this product is the packaging. The single-serving packs are cute, but in practice, it's annoying to have to remember to get one out of the cardboard box before every shower or cleanse, and it's also annoying to have to wet-handedly fumble a new pack open every time. I put them in an empty old Yoplait Oui jar for easier access. The only time these would be truly useful would be for traveling light. On top of that, they're $19 for a box of 30 on Cosrx's official Amazon storefront. If you wash your face twice a day like I do, that's $19 for about two weeks' worth of product. One of the other things I've always appreciated about Cosrx is the budget-friendly pricing. This cleanser is not budget-friendly. I could pay twice as much for a full-size bottle of Sulwhasoo cleanser that would last me many times longer than one box of these. I really hoped these would blow me away and bring me cheering into Cosrx's new era, but they didn't. The next time I want a powder cleanser, I'll stick to the much more economical Tosowoong one.
