I can't say enough how interesting Neil Gaiman's Masterclass is.
Not only this quote is amazing, the man himself is too. ❤️
Yesterday I learned about characters and dialogues. I was genuinely shocked. He creates characters like I always do. Or at least like I feel a character. I never expected that. The words he used were something like this: "they become a part of you and at the same time separate from you" I understand this completely. He talked about how they are alive, about control and insanity.
I know one thing. I admire Neil Gaiman even more now!

It’s Saturday, 1968 in Malibu. Nathan and Sharon are settling in for a night of romance. After Sharon’s realization that Nathan’s record collection was pure crap, she changed moods and played him George Shearing’s “Love-Wise”on the hi-fi. Sharon’s less than subtle hints, her sensuous poses, and her obvious good taste in music means someone’s getting their record scratched in the boudoir later. With all that glass, it’s likely to be a sizzling hot show for the neighbors on the blue and windswept hills of Cliffside Lane.
It’s 6:30 am on a Friday morning, 1961. Benny the milkman has arrived while Robert is leaving for his Wall Street job. Will Benny simply deliver the milk to Robert’s wife Sandra and leave, OR, will he stay to make a latte of love? Did Robert forget his briefcase only to discover them both whipping up the white shag to a frothy consistency? Will we ever know if Benny is a “Tall” or “Grande?” Will we ever know why Robert and Sandra have seven kids? These and other questions have the neighbors up all night. Anything is possible on Minerva Lane.
