I miss French Knotting. But by experience I know that I don't want to start pieces with french knots without tripods . Being 1.90 and already having experience of any kind of neck and back issues I don't want to make it worst ! With this heat in Paris, you just feel like to be naked. Luckily this year we get some air current in some streets that makes it easy to deal with. As you notice lately I took a break with my french knots pieces. The reason is for my back and neck. Even if I have a stand for doing embroidery in good conditions, when you make thousands of french knots it's your all upper part that is in action for hours. The other reasons is that it is not so practical to do french knots pieces while I am traveling. Lastly, you start to know me I have moment where I change my obsessions for some times and shift between my different projects. My actual obsession is to embroider architecture again. Maybe that the Parisian vibes But today I felt like sharing you one of my favorite embroidery where if I remember well it was the first time @petronella.art and I collaborated on an embroidery. She made the hair, she has a great vision for it. I love to collaborate with her because it makes the piece mysterious, you don't know where it will lead. In this pattern you gonna use 1 strand back-stitch, some tiny french-knots. ⁠ I think the best way to transfer it is to use solvy/magic paper as you can stick it in the exact placement you want to have your pattern. If you check on the website (just follow my link in description and click on the post you'll be lead to the right page) I am suggesting you where to place the embroidery on your t-shirt. It is a more classical way to place it but I think that where it fits the best.
