Because yesterday I failed to tell you fun facts...I’m telling them to you on a Saturday! 1. Today I’m photographing a wedding of high school sweethearts. Not just any high school sweethearts. I ATTENDED high school with them! 2. Yesterday, despite my hate of colour matching the Mk iii to the Mk iv. I purchased a Mk iv. I will be complaining each time I edit. Haha. 3. A photographer is coming to pick up a camera bag this morning and bringing ME coffee. I’m SO EXCITED. Because that’s one less stop on my way to today’s wedding. 4. Jinx has an extra special visitor today, she’s going to lose her mind when Mama Beau rolls in the door for dinner + a Jinx o’clock walk. Now time to shower and head out the door! Oh hey it’s me! #fridayintroductions are still a thing, right? If you’re here, you likely know me in “real life,” are a past, present or future client/friend, are a fellow photographer, and some of you are here for pretty pictures. Regardless of what may have brought you here in the first place, I’m glad you’ve decided to stick around! Couple things about me, I am married to my HS sweetheart and he’s my real life PIC that I’d legit be lost without because I have no sense of direction and the guy is a freakin’ walking google map. Together we have two boys that are our absolute world, they also test our very last possible patience, but life’s about balance, right? Food is my love language, specifically tacos or anything with garlic, ohh and pasta! I LOVE pasta! I enjoy being outdoors more than anything. Our backyard is nothing fancy, but it’s our happy place. Plants and home decor are two of my favorite things. I like to think I’m a combo of Missy Elliot, Miranda Lambert, and a dash of Melissa McCarthy and I don’t like party poopers. Phew. George is originally from the country of Georgia, and immigrated at 19 to NYC after graduating from dental school – the family business. However, he was immediately drawn back to his true calling of cooking and began working at a kosher deli in Queens. He graduated from Art Institute of New York and worked at Jean Georges and Fig & Olive. George and his wife Luba moved to Pensacola in 2013, and opened George Artisan Bakery & Bistro on Garden Street in 2015. He & Luba have two beautiful children, Georgina and Grant. . Lots of new faces around here so welcome! It's been a while since I've done a #fridayintroduction so here goes! I'm Lorelie, married to Ethan and we have 3 kids - Isabelle, Annelise and Jake. We moved to our property 2 years ago and my flower passion merged into a small flower farm focusing on growing dahlias. I actually started off selling them as edible flowers but am now focusing on cut flowers. Next season we plan to introduce a small number of new crops. We have 20 acres and my ultimate goal is to have our back paddock full of peonies... can you just imagine!! I also can't help but think about all the other plants I would like to try in the future... I don't really like shopping for clothes or shoes but definitely make up for it in the plant department! Ethan is my greatest supporter and without him none of this would be possible. He hates photos so you won't often see him on here - this photo was taken last year when he organised a farm tour and bouquet workshop for my 30th birthday @kidmanflowers in South Australia - which was INCREDIBLE. I loved it! He let me arrange both bouquets pictured here and helped strip stems and hold them when they got to heavy for me. Like I said, a real gem. My favourite flowers are peonies and dahlias.... and ranunculus.... and.... and.... I love the change of seasons as there is always something to do or to look forward to or plan for. Life is certainly not dull. I love to connect with others on Instagram so feel free to send me a message or ask me a question. I'm definitely not an expert but I'm learning as I go and loving it!
