Pode parecer um sonho bobo e sem sentido para muitas pessoas, mas era uma das estratégias que Deus usava para manter viva em mim a semente de esperança que Ele queria trazer à minha memória. ⠀ Quando nós temos um objetivo, começamos a nos mover em direção a ele, a fim de que seja alcançado; e era exatamente isso que estava acontecendo comigo, nas pequenas coisas, as mais simples e bobas, Deus me fazia enxergar motivos para seguir em frente na minha jornada.... À medida que o tempo passa e as coisas não acontecem, a tendência é abandonar o caminho mais longo e procurar algo que seja “parecido com” o seu sonho, mas que não é exatamente ele. Não estamos para fazer julgamentos, o poder de decisão é algo que nos foi dado como um precioso presente e deve ser valorizado, aqui estou falando de quando você toma uma decisão baseado(a) na cobrança externa e não nas suas próprias convicções; quando você se sente pressionado(a) a seguir um caminho que não é o seu porque o mundo grita que a sua ideia não teria como dar certo mesmo, então você tem que “se contentar” com o que aparecer. ⠀ Mas o que é o contentamento senão um estado genuíno de júbilo?! Dessa forma, contentar-se significa estar feliz e não “aceitar tudo o que vier, só porque veio mesmo”. I laugh sometimes when I look at my Instagram feed because it looks like I go out and do things when in reality, this is what I look like 95% of the time. In fact, I went to dinner with my boyfriend last week and it was the first time I wore normal human clothes in a month. It would've been fine if I hadn't packed everything up during my move. This past month has been really eye opening because it's made me realize that my PGY2 year is only 2 months away and I don't know if I'll ever be able to brush off the feeling of "not being ready." Overall, though, I feel like I grew the most this past month but I have SO much more growing to do. I'm excited to publish my post on Merck Manuals about my intern year so far, so be on the look out this month!
