Happy Sunday!! Feeling extra, EXTRA grateful today. I had a great weekend with my family and I’m just really proud of where I am right now. Not just in the gym, but in life too.
I’ve talked about it before, but this year I’ve really been focusing on my mindset, facing my fears/insecurities, and recovering from “perfectionism” lol.
In completely transparency, this has NOT been easy. It’s been very messy and discouraging at times, but changing your self-talk isn’t an easy task
And if there’s one thing that I’ve noticed, it’s that when I focus on the little pieces of the puzzle, the big picture naturally falls together.
But when I focus too much on the big picture I feel overwhelmed, out of control, and I end up self-sabotaging. Which makes the whole thing worse. It’s literally one big negative cycle ♀️
So this is your reminder to stop focusing so much on getting to the end goal NOW, take the pressure off of yourself, and start focusing on the little things you do in each day that ultimately lead to your success.
This is not me saying not to set goals. This is me saying to focus on the steps you can take to get there in each day, rather than the final product. Keep yourself present in each moment of each day.
For example, if your end goal is to lose weight, don’t focus on that. Instead focus on eating mindfully at each meal and giving it your all in the gym. I put these two things on my to-do list and check them off each day! It’s these small successes in your everyday that keep you motivated to keep at it!

I frequently get asked: “how do you have the motivation to work out all the time?” My answer sometimes is just “idk, I like the gym.” ♀️ The real reason why I am motivated to always work out is because I absolutely love seeing my body change. I stopped doubting myself and my abilities. I started to believe that I am strong and can always get stronger. Once I started seeing a little muscle growth, I worked even harder towards my goals and went to the gym more often. Of course I have days that I don’t feel like going to the gym, but who doesn’t After a rest day or two, I’m back in the game though. I know that if I want my “dream body,” I must work for it.
