I get asked a lot what my secret is whenever I post some kind of transformation picture. Want to know what it is?! Well there are a few... let me break it down for you❤️ I thought hard about WHY I wanted to do this journey. This was my next step that I knew I HAD to do to help me battle my depression and anxiety. I had to do this for MY SON and for ME. We both DESERVE my best self. This why has to hit you. It has to drive you. It has to make you do it on those days you feel blah/sad/angry/upset. I had never finished a workout program from start to finish a day in my life. I was usually quitting by week 2 the latest (usually quicker than that). But my why kept me going. My son deserves a mom that can be more than a lump on the couch or in bed. He deserves a mom that will interact and play with him. He deserves a mom who isn’t going through life on autopilot. He deserves a mom who will have more patience with him. He deserves a mom who can put herself together to shower and get ready for the day. HE DESERVES THIS and I DESERVE THIS! So I said yes and joined a fantastic community that has endless amounts of support from wonderful women. I showed up. I pressed play. Learned HOW to fuel my body THE CORRECT WAY. I work on myself daily. It’s not an option for me. I make it mandatory now since I started my mental health journey 9 months ago. So even on days where I can’t work out. I do other things to work on me. Personal development. My vision board. Meditation. Etc (the list goes on and on). Treat yourself how you would treat a loved one. With love and care. These aren’t really “secrets” because there really isn’t any. You just have to take a leap. Even if you don’t believe in yourself there are so many others that believe in you enough for awhile until you believe in yourself❤️ Who is ready to take that leap of faith? What’s your why? Through all my three pregnancies I didn’t worry about the gaining weight part. I ate what I could and what I felt like eating. I didn’t make the best of choices and did gain a lot with my third pregnancy which lead me to some health issues. However, I did embrace every change along the way because we are only pregnant for so long. I didn’t have much time to work out when I had the two boys, I did Jillian Michaels workouts in the living room. I did what I could but could never could stick to it. Now I have three kids and I make myself a priority. It’s an outlet to have some time to myself. I take it so serious ‍♀️ for my mind body and soul.
