“THEY SAY I DID SOMETHING BAD. But why’s it feel so good?” For all of you who aren’t Taylor swift fans .... it’s a song. But it’s how I feel eating my #toasttuesday breakfast for dinner. There’s a myth that eating carbs is bad but eating carbs for dinner is worse. Well here’s what I think. We’ve all heard that your body needs carbohydrates to survive, but that doesn’t mean just in the morning. Our bodies require a sustainable fuel source to get us through our day and also while resting. Including a serving of whole grains at dinner will satiate you through the night, keep you from your midnight cravings, and keep you from feeling ravenous the moment you wake up. So forget the “rules”! I’m thoroughly enjoying my #avocadotoast dinner you could even say it’s the “most fun I’ve ever had” .

This weekend I partied with my husband and our friends. I drank alcohol, ate only chips, and got less than 5 hours sleep. But I laughed more than I have in weeks, danced for hours and made amazing memories with the people I love most in the world.
Meditation, getting enough sleep, healthy foods and relaxation are all essential to my wellbeing but something else that’s just as important is being able to switch off from all our adult duties, let go of worry and just have FUN.
I felt the need to share this because it tends to be just the glamorous side of wellness that’s shared. But sometimes stepping out of our routine and doing whatever feels good even if it isn’t 100% ‘healthy’ is exactly what we need to recharge and feel nourished

As an avid Instagram user, it seriously feels like the algorithm changes every day.⠀⠀

What works on day, doesn't the other. ♀️⠀

And now, we have eliminated likes on photos (at least here in Canada since we are Instagram's guinea pigs!) ⠀

I'm sitting here right now wondering what we will see next.⠀⠀

IT’S ABOUT BALANCE. I promise you, once you figure it out....It’ll become a habit. Then it’ll become lifestyle. Then at some point, you won’t be able to live without it. I only had 30 mins between meetings today, and I could’ve easily said fuck it, which sometimes I do.. but the regret of not going at all weighs heavier than getting a 30-45 min workout in. A workout is better than NO workout, remember that saying? It’s true. Make that shit happen.

Mit diesem Salat holst du dir garantiert den Sommer in's Haus. Die Komponenten schlüssle ich unten noch mal detailliert für dich auf. Im vorigen Beitrag kannst du dir das HOW TO Video dazu ansehen. Mariniert habe ich das Ganze mit einem Orangensaftdressing, das perfekt mit der Salatmischung harmoniert.
Neben meiner Komponentenbar, die ich wöchentlich vorbereite, ist ein Vorrat für mich der Schlüssel, um zeitsparend zu kochen. In meiner Story nehm ich dich heute mit in meinen Vorratsraum und gewähre dir einen kleinen Einblick. Durch meinen Beruf als Rezeptentwicklerin ist dieser natürlich etwas umfangreicher, als der in einem Standardhaushalt, also nicht wundern :). Wie ist das bei dir? Aus dem Garten: Grünkohl, Radieschen, Tomaten, Petersilie, Minze
Aus dem Vorratsraum: getrocknete Tomaten, Quinoa (vorgekocht aus der Komponentenbar), Mandeln
Aus dem Kühlschrank: Räuchertofu, Rote Beete, Fenchel, Salat, veganer Feta

Pizza without cheese?

Yes and no! Yesterday evening we enjoyed such a simple and delicious dish. PIZZA and I made some vegan cheese sauce which we put on it for the last five minutes, which this pizza was in the oven. I just forgot to take a picture before we ate it ♀️
Anyways.. I just wanted to give you a cheap and simple recipe idea
We bought this dough with tomato sauce in the next store, it is vegan
