RESCUED Hi Guys Earlier I did a live thing over IG regarding this little girl. Yes girl - I did the check so no confusion later I don't want to get into the semantics about what happened to her but I will say, thoughtless actions from someone else. Just more crazy shenanigans on this island Although it seemed dire at the time of her rescue & I had to unfortunately move her just a tad to get her to let me know she was still alive while driving - I think she might be ok I would say she's in pain from the 4 bite punctures she has, one leading down to her little muscle. I'm told she's more than 3 months. I'm struggling with that info & think she's about 2 or 2.5 months. I feel though that she's dreadfully traumatized from what happened to her. At this point I'm not sure what her vet costs will be until a couple of days from now but so far, IV, painkiller injection, antibiotics injection & hospitalization. She will need treatment for the 100s of lice crawling all over her & for ticks as well. . The senior vet has already recommended xrays because the bite was next or near her thorax & blood tests for blood parasites. I've delayed that until tomorrow to see how she does. Then she'll need vaccinations + spay. . A total estimation from me will be around $250.
