If you’re struggling with certain aches or pains, you can speed up your healing process (or alleviate chronic pains) by directing your attention to that particular area. As we run around in our busy lives our body is multitasking 24/7 to keep us alive, hence why it cant give 100% to just one area. We must set aside a special time (15-30mins a day) for our cells to fully focus on a specific spot ✨✨✨ Lie down and take 3 deep cleansing breaths, completely relaxing the body. Feel the support underneath you. Continue breathing in and out, slow down and extend your inhales and exhales. To release initial tension, As you breathe out, imagine your body turn to dust except the part that aches/needs healing. Then on your next exhale imagine that part also turning to dust. As you gently relax deeper and deeper, you can use your imagination to put yourself in a beautiful safe place- perhaps a place in nature, space, different magical planet etc. Imagine that the safe place itself has healing powers.Then imagine your body laying in that space, and the part that aches/ needs healing is glowing bright red. Imagine that you’re standing over your body and as you breathe out, you see your body breathe too. With every exhale see the red get lighter and lighter as it dissolves. The need to compare ourselves (especially physical appearance) actually comes from a very primitive need for adaptation/adaptability to our environment in order to survive. . We want to make sure we look and behave like the “tribe” we are entering, in order to be accepted and not attacked (hence not killed). It’s a primitive instinct that eventually society exaggerated by commercialization. . With globalization it’s become even harder because we are all so vastly different and the primitive mind is overwhelmed, not knowing where to fit into. In addition every couple of decades society would pick a new type to commercialize. . So that alone makes it obvious that there’s no one way to look and be. . Simply remember that and say to yourself- “I am safe just the way I am”. . To train your mind, for one day, admire the beauty of others without any comparison. See what inspires you about someones beauty (inner or/and outer) and what you can take away from it. .
