I’ve debated whether to share this or not but have finally decided I will as I know others can relate or need to hear their not alone in their journeys! . As I’ve mentioned before I’ve been dealing with some anxiety and depression and I had never delt with depression before, until February... the month of February was Hard and I spent most of my days in a fog and disconnect so to speak. This is the main reason I haven’t been as active on Instagram as I have been in the past. I was super hesitant to go to the doctor and get medicine because I thought “I can beat this” “you don’t need medication to help” but the reality was that I did. I’m also the type of person who tends to bottle up my emotions and doesn’t like talking about what I’m feeling or going through... Sometimes our egos can get in the way, and sometimes we have to surrender to the fact that we Need help. I’m am happy to say I now feel almost all the way back to myself again and I have to thank my SSRIs for that. While I don’t think I’ll need to take them forever, for now I do and I have accepted it and am grateful. Accepting help isn’t a sign of weakness or something to be embarrassed about. It’s a sign of great strength.

We all create. Some paint. Some dance. Some garden. I create with knowledge. I create classes. Lectures. Sequences. I find no greater joy than creating a course or a unique Ayurvedic plan, or a sequence , and then executing it in the world. We are all creators and artists of something. Ever wonder what your dharma is? It's linked to your joy. What do you do in this life that brings you joy? Over the years, I have found the most successful way to be a creative person while also making a living with your creativity is to not focus so much on the profit. If you create something with the idea it will make you a ton of money, the struggle will always meet you. Create for the J O Y that it brings you. The money will take care of itself.
