Found my holy grail after makeup revolution banana powder.@hourglasscosmetics translucent powder which gives natural finish & brightens the complexion without becoming messy. I know it’s way too pricey but worth trying. Love how it provides velvety texture to my under eyes and makes makeup last longer without becoming cakey. I got the travel size one and I think it will last me way longer than I can imagine. I was never a fan of cream blushes. I don’t know why but maybe because I feel like they won’t last longer. But girrl! This @juicebeauty blush in the shade orange blossom is breathtaking. If you swatch it, it will not show up anything. However, on the cheeks, it will give a nice peachy coral shade that you’ll fall in love with instantly. And it stays put longer than you can imagine.

I have so many mascaras in my collection but currently my most favourite and go to mascara is @ponicosmetics White knight mascara. I cannot put down using this mascara, because it provides so much volume and makes the lashes fuller. And it’s @ponicosmetics 6th birthday, Happy birthday @ponicosmetics, many many happy returns of the day. To celebrate they relaunched the white knight mascara with a completely new packaging, monochrome tube with 2 different kinds of wands, however, product is same as before. They were so kind that they sent 2 of the mascara, one for me, another for my bestie. Thanks a bunch for that. I am so in love with the new packaging. So glad that I have the backup already. {Gifted}

In the same vein as the previous Eaux releases, Riviera isn’t an overly complicated composition – I get sunbaked orange blossom with the faintest hint of indole, profusely zesty orange peel, and utterly delectable vanillic benzoin – it is though beautiful in its simplicity. I was fortunate enough to score a bottle before next month’s official release and am besotted by its brightness, especially layered atop Bois des Îles. A fitting addition to the Les Eaux collection, Riviera is a limited edition release available only until May 2020. Who is adding it to their must-try list?

Happy Monday everyone A few of weeks ago @style_story_au gifted me the Essence Toner and Moisture Ampoule from @pyunkangyul. ⁣ ⁣ The Essence Toner is deeply hydrating, which is perfect now that winter is officially here. It feels thicker than most toners when it first comes out of the bottle, but it spreads evenly and quickly over my face. It’s key ingredients are Milk Vetch Root Extract and Arginine. One of my favourite things about this is the packaging. There’s a little seal under the cap which you remove to dispense the product. It’s small enough that you can get the perfect amount out without wastage, which is often a problem I have with most toners.⁣ ⁣ The Moisture Ampoule is very unique to my collection. It has a thick and tacky consistency that the brand described as being like honey. The tackiness subsides after a couple of minutes, and it leaves me skin feeling plump. It helps to protect the skin against environmental stressors and hydrate at the same time. It’s been working for me in a humid climate, but I’m not sure if it would be hydrating enough if I was in Melbourne with my already dry skin.

Continuing the theme of gloriously spiced orientals, this evening I spritzed Amouage Fate Woman. Probably my favourite Amouage release since Memoir in 2010 (though I am yet to test Portrayal Woman which does sound amazing, anyone had the chance?), Fate Woman opens in a heady, narcotic haze of gourmandish, syrupy vanillic benzoin and sunny narcissus dusted piquant with chilli powder. As the syrupiness intensifies, so blooms the jasmine and rose before the composition turns more sensuous, more oriental as immortelle and cinnamon come to contrast the well-worn leather accord and unusually soft – by Amouage standards – frankincense that mark the dry down. I don’t know the story behind Fate Woman but I feel an exotic desert oasis banquet under shade of date palms could have played a role in its creative direction. Truly beautiful.
