There is only one way to get to the remnants of the ancient city of Inwa (or Ava!) near Mandalay, in Myanmar. For us, like for most tourists, firstly it took a bit of a drive from Mandalay. It was convenient actually, as we decided to drive (rather than fly) from Mandalay to Bagan. So, on the outskirts of Mandalay, we arrived at a spot where we had to take a boat to cross the Irrawaddy River. On the other side, we then jumped on a two-wheel horse carriage (there were dozens of them waiting). It took us on a tour of a few ancient ruins, finally arriving at the Maha Aungmye Bonzan Monastery, where we took this photo. It's a fun way to see the sights and explore the countryside here. Here in Myanmar, there is only one way to get to the remains of the ancient city of Inwa (otherwise known as Ava) near Mandalay. We drove for a good while from Mandalay (on our way to Bagan) and arrived at a place from on the bank of the Irrawaddy river from which we had to take a boat. On the other side we jumped on a two-wheel horse carriage (there were dozens of them waiting) and we rode to Iwa, visiting a few ancient ruins on the way and finally arriving at the Maha Aungmye Bonzan Monastery. Time is the most powerful weapon. everything turns into ruins under strong time. ~~~~~~~~~~~ Мьянма - одна из самых колоритных и красочных мест на планете. В прошлых столетиях здесь было построено множество храмов. В одном лишь городе Баган было возведено более чем 4000 храмов, но до настоящего времени сохранились только 2000. Причина всему частые землятресения с большими балами. Последнее землятресение по словам местных было в 2016 году, которое разрушило половину городов, в том числе прекрасные огромные храмы! В связи с этим правительство Мьянмы закрыло все достопримечательности. Если раньше можно было забраться наверх ступы и посмотреть на город с высоты (так как обычно ступы и храмы являются самыми высокими зданиями, и выше их запрещено что-либо строить ), то сейчас такого удовольствия не предоставляется... Могу предположить, что если оттянуть своё путешествие по Мьянме ещё на лет 10, то возможно что здесь уже совсем ничего не останется, одни руины и куда китайских туристов. Поэтому если хотите насладиться первобытной культурой, посетить древние храмы, построенные в 800 столетии, познакомиться с различными этническими группами, которые до сих пор живут в горах, делают себе татуировки на лице или носят кольца на шее, то скорее приезжайте в Мьянму!

Nós passamos 3 dias em Mandalay. A segunda maior cidade do Myanmar . . 1️⃣ No primeiro dia nós exploramos as atrações da cidade. Fizemos tudo caminhando e pegando um tuk-tuk vez ou outra. Mas se tivéssemos alugado uma bicicleta teria sido bem mais legal ❤️ . . 2️⃣ No segundo dia nós alugamos uma moto por MMK 10k por dia (USD 6.50) e fomos para a região de Mingun e Sagaing e terminamos o dia com o pôr do sol na U Bein Bridge. . . 3️⃣ No terceiro e último dia (ainda com a moto alugada) fomos até a região de Inwa e Amarapura. AMAMOS ❤️ Se vc tiver que escolher entre Mingun e esta região, não tenha dúvidas: Vá para Inwa! . . Terminamos o dia no Sky Bar, que fica no Apex Mandalay Hotel. Pagamos USD 1 por chopp e vimos o pôr do sol do rooftop. . . Почему Скандинавская ходьба? . . . Моё тело никогда не находилось в дефиците физической нагрузки. Однако, вся эта активность, была внутри помещений. Я поняла, что внутренне постоянно избегала условий за пределами привычного для меня «зального» комфорта. Кроме того, хотелось добавить кардио-нагрузку. Разбираясь, как тренер в анатомии и основных био-механических процессах мной была выбрана скандинавская ходьба. Скандинавская ходьба отвечает всем моим критериям. СХ физиологична, оказывает превентивный и лечебный эффект для опорно-двигательного аппарата, нетравмоопасна и позволяет вылезти из комфортного панциря и приучить организм находится больше времени на свежем воздухе, адаптируясь под любые погодные условия - закаливание. Ах, да, ещё эффект похудения! свежего цвета лица! и хорошего настроения! Ещё это прекрасно организует группы для совместного времяпрепровождения и даже путешествий. СХ прекрасно легла в мою систему здорового образа жизни, идеально сочетаясь с действующими практиками. В теплое время после нескольких километров закончить тренировку мягкой йогой и занятием для стоп на свежем воздухе под лучами солнца, а в холодное, по возвращению домой, «прокатать тело» мячами доставив здоровую энергию как можно глубже в тело. Myanmar has been at the top of my “to go” list for a long time and I’ve finally made it. Mandalay was a good introduction to the country with its beautiful pagodas and incredibly friendly people.
