Do you listen to podcasts ⠀⠀ I have started to listen to podcasts lately, and I found one that I feel the need to share with my beauty community. ⠀⠀ I have been watching @lozcurtis on YouTube for many years now, but she has just started her own podcast series called the “Mental Makeover Podcast”. ⠀⠀ As her podcast blurb states “The Mental Makeover Podcast shares real, honest advise on all things happiness, body image, self-love, relationships, spirituality and reaching your goals.” ⠀⠀ In this day and age when everyone is so focused on what they look like and what others think of them, it’s nice to have someone speak honestly and truthfully about their experience with social media, what it’s like to be in the spot light and how to stay true to yourself. ⠀⠀ I 110% recommend giving The Mental Makeover Podcast a listen and taking on board everything Lauren says about happiness, body image, self-love, relationships, spirituality and reaching your goals. ⠀⠀ Lauren definitely has a way with her words and knows how to reach her target audience

I like to do things my own way!✨ ⠀⠀ I have read a lot lately about fake accounts, fake followers, fake content and fake people on social media. It not only worrying and interesting, but it has also inspired me to really think about who I have following my account and reacting to my content. ⠀⠀ Everyone’s so obsessed with their engagements and how many likes or comments they get, but they aren’t bothered about who those people are, and who their posts are actually reaching. ⠀⠀ I create my content for my clients, friends and family, and hope that they then share things with their friends and I can create new clientele through social media. But when I actually looked into who was following and reacting to my post, not many of the people I was wanting to reach were actually seeing what I was posting. ⠀⠀ Last night I did something that not too many other accounts would dare to do....I deleted some of my followers! ⠀⠀ I had so many spam, fake and inactive accounts following my profile and to me they’re just a waste of space. I want my content to reach my real followers and my loyal clients. ⠀⠀ I want my posts to mean something, be informative and interactive. At the end of the day, my profile is to promote my business and share content with my clients, so that is what I am going to do

The feeling I get the morning of a wedding is a mixture of EXCITEMENT, NERVES, LOVE & GRATITUDE ⠀⠀ I get so EXCITED that I am going to work, and to a wedding! Weddings are so special and I feel so blessed that I get to be a part of someone’s special day. I get so excited to meet new people and share my passion with them. ⠀⠀ But I also get NERVOUS.
