➞➞ ➞ Shaving Foam Painting←←←⁣ So ridiculously easy to set up in less than a minute. Dollops of shaving foam, each with a drop of food colouring on top. We eventually got our hands in and it felt sooo lovely. Smelt fab too. A treat for all the senses.

Jelly + Numbers = #makeamesswithnumbers I dare you to try this with your little one and them not to eat any!! Draw around some foam numbers onto card and then set the numbers in some jelly overnight. Give it a mix to hide the numbers and let them search to find each one. Extra points for getting their hands stuck right in! ▫️A splash of paint to lift his spirit▫️ LM has been really poorly this morning. He came down stairs and said he wasn’t hungry which is really unlike him. Then he laid on the sofa for about a hour and hadn’t moved. He’s full of cold, has a temperature and constantly sneezing. I asked if he wanted to play and he said ‘no, I want to go back to bed;’ which he did do. A little later he returned back downstairs and I set up some paint. Sadly, it only lasted for about 10 minutes and then he said he wants to lay back down, but in that ten minutes he was painting he did seem more himself. //MINI CONSTRUCTION TRAY// Warning! Seriously quick prep idea! This literally took 30 seconds to set up. 1. Grab a baking tray (mine was a foil one left over from Christmas) 2. Squash a few balls of playdough on to the tray 3. Throw in a few stones /rocks / twigs / conkers / nature things. 4. Add some construction vehicles. 5. It's so nicely contained that it can be kept out the way until you need to whip it out at the crucial moment to distract a toddler Enjoy!

//HEART MARK MAKING// Take 2 of painting with food coloured yoghurt! ❤️ Messy mark making that both boys could join in with and a fun activity to include little ones who like putting everything in their mouth. We used a heart shape from a shape sorter game but I also made some heart stamps from a cardboard tube. //HOT CHOCOLATE PLAYDOUGH// A perfect #oursensorywinter prompt today for chocolate lovers ☕ we made playdough using hot chocolate powder and it smells delicious! . I have to admit I'm not a baker and don't really enjoy cooking but this recipe is too simple to mess up. 1 cup of plain flour 1/2 cup of salt 1 tbsp of cream of tartar 1 tbsp of oil 1 cup of boiling water A few tbsps of hot chocolate powder or small amount of cocoa depending on how strong you want it. Mix together in a pan over a low heat until it comes together. Knead once it's cooled a bit, if it's a bit dry add a little water, if it's a bit sticky add a little flour. . . It will be a great addition to our farm play stuff or to make a dirt track for Max's cars. . .
