Waiting in the car while Preetam collects Arjun from school and thought I'd quickly put this up here to almost capture how ecstatic and grateful I'm feeling right now! My birthday hasn't consisted of doing anything extra ordinary but it's been perfect so far for me. I woke up to Arjun gifting me a game he'd made for me (need him to clarify the instructions when he's home ‍♀️) and then after the school drop off, we headed to the Gurdwara which was the perfect start to the day before heading to Westfield to just mooch about and have some lunch. It's been so special because (I feel so guilty typing this) Preetam and I have spent quality time with Saajan without being distracted by Arjun. We spend a lot of time on 121 attention with Arjun and often Saajy gets left behind. It's more because Arjun almost needs us more at this age, Saajans so easy going that we almost forget to do it with him too. It was so beautiful to spend focused time with him, watching him wave to every passing person, receive his unconditional love, absorb his surroundings and enjoy lunch without us trying to focus on Arjuns needs too. I wasn't uptight or stressy, I was calm and happy and really enjoyed spending time with my smallest. Saajan equally enjoyed having us to himself. I feel so content, happy and light mentally (physically I'm stuffed! Got treated to entire pretzel instead of the freebie bitesize ones #ifyouknowyouknow ).
