Watched my first Macross show ever after a decade of buying Macross toys. It’s amazing what a good bit of fiction does to attach you to a toy. In this case, the YF-19 Isamu. It’s not a colour scheme I ever liked and as much as I was aware of the toy I never had been interested in this version because of the colours. I got the Yamato black and gold originally but that’s a loose bot. Having watched Macross Plus now I’m absolutely in love with this fighter and colours so much that this is only 10 of 134 pics I’ve finished up with . I took more than 400 shots across 3 sunsets. Really looking forward to sharing more of this in my feed as the angles and nuances of this thing make it a thing of beauty.
