Наш праздник!!! Проекту "Клиника Памяти" исполнилось три года. Я вручаю подарок (книгу "Невероятные лабиринты") от лица коллектива нашему руководителю, человеку, у которого родилась идея о создании "Клиники памяти" в Москве - Георгию Петровичу Костюку - главному внештатному специалисту психиатру Департамента здравоохранения г. Москвы, главному врачу ГБУЗ «Психиатрическая клиническая больница № 1 им. Н.А. Алексеева ДЗМ», профессору, д.м.н, врачу-психиатру высшей квалификационной категории, полковнику медицинской службы запаса. Было очень много именитых гостей. Праздник удался!

A Memory Clinic (MC) faz parte do CNA e é especializada na avaliação de queixas de memória em idosos e adultos mais velhos. A avaliação da memória é importante, pois ela pode fazer parte tanto do que consideramos um envelhecimento normal quanto um quadro de envelhecimento patológico. O exame neuropsicológico é uma das ferramentas que pode auxiliar o diagnóstico e diferenciação entre esses dois. DAY 348: Firstly, the melon and the orange on the table represent the weight of a healthy brain versus one with #dementia- a brilliant demonstration by Prof. Nigel Hooper, in his talk before mine, which was all about reducing risk of dementia. It was such a rush getting to present at @pintofscience today and be part of such an animated overall global #sciencefestival experience (Day 320, 343 and 347!). I had so much fun listening to the other speakers and learnt a lot more about the biology and chemistry behind dementia, mostly #AlzheimersDisease, and prevention. I also got to play games about guessing the risk factors for dementia (which I did have a bit of an unfair advantage at)! I was also told I was able to keep the audience laughing and engaged during my talk "Dementia doesn't discriminate but addressing it does". I gave the audience an idea of the #dementiacarepathway in the UK, from referral to #memoryclinic to third sector services like legal firms, counselling services, support groups and specialist carers.
