The question is....table 1 or 2? Or are they both the same....and I’m just tricky . . . . . This table is heading out the door with a black finish. In my shop I always use brown stain before the black stain.......the brown gives the black depth and creates a richer color. . . . . . . Having two different stains gives you the perfect set-up for photos!! For IG of course .....No Silly!! It’s to grow your photo book for potential clients!! . . . . . Okay, now a few tips on this. If you take a pic of just stain with no finish, take it with wet stain, it makes it look finished in the pictures. Take different angles to make the table look different Lastly, you can also switch table tops with different bases for different looks. This will grow your book quickly without building each piece and having unsold inventory sitting around. MIND BLOWING.... I KNOW ..... Now back to work!! Happy #tiptuesday

Honestly I love the entire SW line especially their Pre-Cat....but when I don’t want to spray this has been my go to. ♥️ . . . . . Moving on.....this #wipwednesday has been a busy one! Had the shop door open today which means I had a few visitors wander in ‍♀️ This is always interesting when you’re talking TO your phone not ON your phone! The tables behind me a baking in their new glow and will be going out the door later this week! . . . . . What are y’all working on mid week

I’M BACK!!! Let’s kick this week off right with a #shopselfie and few #woodworkingtips . . . . . Staining!! Always, always, always use a wood conditioner, I use Minwax It’s easier to stain pieces before they are fully assembled Put table tops on scrap wood (see 2x4s) this makes it easier to move, stain edges, flip the top over. Always wear your headphones with good music and one glove..... IDK why the one glove ‍♀️ but the music makes staining less painful!! ♥️ . . . . . What tips do y’all have to start this week off

3...2...1...CLICK!! I was asked a few weeks ago who my photographer is Well....it’s this handsome fella I call “Tripod” and sometimes “Camera” gets a little finicky and will, “click, click, click AWAY!!” . . . (Really this is a true story). This is one of those “Clicky” shots, mid motion and me....trained to smile even on the last click! *sigh* . . . . Oh well, the tables you see behind me, one 8ft the other 6ft were built in one day. A few years ago it would’ve taken me four days to think it out....cut, measure, cut again, find the glue, clamp, sand.....this reminiscing is giving me anxiety! BUT, I didn’t give up AND YOU SHOULDN’T EITHER!! Nothing worthwhile comes easy. If you’re just starting out and own one drill, one saw and didn’t know you should use glue....guess what, ME TOO!! ♥️♥️♥️ You have to start somewhere, just don’t forget to start! . . . .
