in an effort to #cyclesync & stay true to eating #seasonally, ive been making subtle shifts in what i choose to nourish my body with. i know for me, when my life grows hectic, my food choices slip. i mentioned this briefly in my stories yesterday that the past few weeks, i had been gravitating to convenience food items. think gluten free + #vegan pizza, pasta, packaged food, etc. despite being #plantbased or not, what’s convenient is usually processed, loaded with ingredients that i cannot pronounce which can place a lot of pressure on my sensitive self. #HSP over here that pressure has been manifesting as anxiety, skipping moon cycles & trouble achieving restful sleep. when i get busy, it’s SO EASY for me to forget that what i choose to nourish my body with directly impacts my energetic body. like duh, no wonder you feel like garbage when you’ve been skipping out on making meals in exchange for takeout. us silly humans, how easily we forget. ☺️ so this is me holding myself accountable and also reminding you that a little effort goes along way. what i have been incorporating more of is fresh juices, namely, celery, cumcumber & lime. lots of leafy greens, abundant salads that are never boring, fruits like peaches and watermelon and probiotic rich foods like sauerkraut. oh, and LOTS of water! water rich foods. it’s amazing how quickly my body responds. it’s only day two but this morning i woke up feeling refreshed, light and ready to tackle the day. and my mood has definitely improved. how are you nourishing yourself? #highvibineats

So excited to start this next (and final!) chapter on my journey to becoming a Registered Dietitian Keeping it simple this morning with a bowl of summer overnight oats that I know will keep me full until lunch
Summer overnight oats dEats: 1/2 cup @bobsredmill oats, 1 tbsp each @salbachia chia seeds, ground flax seeds, pumpkin seeds, 1/2 cup organic 2% milk, sprinkle of raisins, cinnamon and coconut flakes - all in a mason jar in the fridge overnight. In the am, dump into a bowl, add honey, @lifewaykefir plain kefir, blueberries and @beeseasonalhoney pollen - serve chilled! ☀️ #nutritionsqueezed #rdtobe
