Well...here is a little story about one of my favorite & highly demanding customers. Let me start off by saying some customers are difficult, some are annoying, some show no appreciation for the long and tiring hours put into a project, others down play the profession thinking it’s a dumb job and anyone can do it, others think you charge too much, and the story goes on. So back to my customer at hand...a while back he was spoiled and got a new @dodgeofficial Ram for his birthday. First off he requested a gooseneck hitch installed in his truck so he can pull his ag/flatbed trailer. Tried to explain to him we are not a @tcs_suspension Type of shop...need that kinda work go see the pro’s. Well we got it done. Next was the demanded for a trailer...well 2 days later and a little bit of effort we got a trailer...then to pick the color....yup no other then ole school @johndeere green. We had MORE baby bunnies today!! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 12 from Ebony and an unknown number at this point from Bailey, but it looks like a lot! I’m waiting for her to go out for some feed so I can get in there and count them quickly.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I was just thinking this morning about how much this little farm of ours has grown since February. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Remember in January (just 4 MONTHS ago!) we didn’t have any animals of our own except for little Oli, our Schnauzer poodle mix that is a wee 10 poundling well the farm has grown a little since then: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ January: = 1 dog⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ May, 2019=⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 6 goats: We started with 3 goats, who had 5 kids, we sold 2, so now we have 6 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 53 rabbits! We started with three female rabbits (two were pregnant), we got 3 male adults, and we have 47 kits! (there’s a reason for the saying “multiplying like rabbits” )⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 3 dogs: we started with Oli, then we bought Bear (our #greatpyreneese) then we got Bella (a Great Pyrenees/karakachan mix) from my brother⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 41 laying chickens: We paid for 30 chickens but got 37 (a mix of roosters too), I had already ordered 20 chicks, then was given 4 more ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ In June, 2019 we will be adding: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 100 Meat Birds and ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 10 ducklings! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Isn’t that awesome! ‍ just call me Farmer Ruth from now on ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ What’s the point?
