What a Monday!! I had to find a last minute sitter to watch the girls so I could go to the dentist. I’ve been struggle with pain that we had thought was fixed but made a turn for the worse the last few days. Luckily I was able to get in today and get some meds. That was a win! Patrick started his journey back home today from Cali- another win! Lastly these beautiful boxes are almost ready!! You can see the other colors in my story. They will $95 each, which includes shipping. They measure approximately 17” x 17” and 3” deep. These are completely handmade (not by me) with brand new wood. Currently there is only a white and a lavender one left. If you’d like to claim one feel free to send me a DM.

We’re still in San Antonio for a few more days, but I wanted to share a close up of the wave box I repurposed from a small vintage cabinet. I will have a four boxes similar available in the next shop up date. Who wants one?! What color would you like to see them in?!

When I was younger I pictured myself as a CEO. But the idea in my head was that I had to wear a business suit and heels. The first year I started my business I dressed up, and pulled my hair back and try to dress the part. I was really uncomfortable because I’ve never been that girl. I’m a flip flop and tank top girl forevvvver! And then I asked myself, “Why?” and “For who?” So here I am, CEO, barefoot in the sand, and I get to call this my job. How’s very one’s weekend? We’ve been enjoying the sunshine and summer like weather! ☀️ Here’s a piece I’m currently working on. Beautiful shells from Nicaragua handpicked during a family vacation. I was also asked to incorporate sea glass from the family’s grandmother. This piece is seriously a special one!

Do you want to know why this piece scares me? I’m afraid of spending so much time on something and it not turn out beautiful. I’m afraid of this piece not being good enough for someone’s wedding. I’m afraid that it won’t be as exciting as my IGTV video explanation from last month. The crazy thing is, I’m making this piece for myself and there are no obligations, plans, or request. So all this fear is something my mind is making up. I had to tell myself today that none of this matters. But it’s all about the process, and that no matter what I create I’m sure it’ll be epic because I’m getting out of my comfort zone and not letting these fears stop me.
