My oh my this was the perfect ending to my bad day! I have been dying to try these @buffbake Crunchy and soft baked cookies! Tonight I’m going to have a birthday cake crunchy cookie! They have between 12 and 16 g of protein! Remember the food is fuel and if you want something go for it❤️ Lately I have been telling myself don’t think just do and it has been so helpful. Just being able to listen to the body is so important and a huge accomplishment that I hope you all can do or work on. It doesn’t come to easy at first if you have an unhealthy relationship with food, but with a little hard work, uncomfortability and dedication and consistency it make it happen!!!

So I was wondering the other day about the REAL importance of calcium, and you guys might be too so I asked our nutritionist and this is what she had to say:
Apart from being a vital structural component of our bones and teeth, calcium plays a role in a number of cell signaling processes in the body, including those required for:
Muscle contraction,
⚡Nerve impulse transmission
- Vasoconstriction (contraction) and vasodilation (relaxation) of the blood vessels.
HOW MUCH CALCIUM DO WE NEED A DAY?
Females aged 19-50 1,000 mg/day.
Males 19-70 1,000 mg/day.
From age 51, women should increase their calcium intake to 1,300 mg/day, and men should do the same from age 70.
